Since 2016, Drost Farms has produced fresh Canada No.1 carrots for the Alberta market at the wholesale level. We grow, store, wash, and pack into market ready packaging including 2 lb, 3 lb, 5 lb, 10 lb, and 50 lb bag configurations from August 1 until season's end. Our desire is to extend our storage season to supply the local market with local product. Secondly, we aim to reduce food waste by supporting other markets by offering a second grade fresh or processed carrot.
