Lethbridge Biogas operates a large biogas facility (in Lethbridge) which uses organic waste materials to produce Renewable Natural Gas (RNG). The facility became operational in 2014. The waste materials which are used to feed the facility include liquids, sludges and packaged pre-consumer materials from the food processing sector in Alberta.
Lethbridge Biogas serves the Alberta Food Processor sector by receiving waste process liquids, sludges, and pre-consumer packaged waste products for use as feedstocks to its own process. We accept truckload quantities either by tank trailer or solid waste hauling vehicles, as appropriate.
