Technology Missions

Major trade shows and conferences are an excellent source of information on new and innovative technology, processing methods, packaging and equipment. As a result, AFPA organizes missions to some of the major national and international events. Such events allows members to hear and see new technology and inquire about its applicability to their own firm or industry.

Members are encouraged to bring to AFPA's attention appropriate events that would assist them in learning about new and innovative technology, especially technology that would make it feasible for them to offer new and different products and as well as to be more cost competitive. Cost sharing programs are available for individual and group initiatives which are consistent with AFPA's business plan, meet the criteria of its funding partners and do not compete with partner initiatives.
