New Consumer Promotion

AFPA's media campaign and promotional material will focus on sending consumers to www.preparedwithpride.com. A web site controlled by the Association is a cost effective way to sustain promotions beyond purchased media campaigns, and allows you to build stronger ties directly with consumers. The key to a successful web site is to keep focused on what the consumer needs, and to keep it fresh.

Based on AFPA's review of successful sites and past promotions, we believe the following will be our winning concept:

There are many sites featuring recipes, but they don't direct consumers to which retail outlet(s) carry the product. www.preparedwithpride.com will do this. Also, products will feature a hot link to the member's web site so that interested consumers can learn about your other products, your own consumer promotions, and so on.

AFPA has developed a media strategy focused on specific occasions: Back to School, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Mother's Day, Canada Day, Summer BBQ. We want you to submit recipes to us that we can load on the web site for each of those specific occasions.

Consumers will be able to see a list of retail outlets in Alberta where your products are available along with a link to your web page (if available).
