Introduction to Confined Space Entry
Course Description:
A course that introduces students to the fundamentals of confined space entry. This course is geared towards workers who work in confined space. As well this is also appropriate training for the supervisor. Actual scenarios will be presented and students must determine the correct procedure for dealing with these scenarios.
This one-day workshop will cover:
- The definition of confined spaces
- The inherent hazards of confined space entry
- The basics of atmospheric testing
- How to permit for confined spaces
- A Code of Practice for Confined Spaces
