Agriculture Financial Services Corporation (AFSC), a provincial Crown corporation that works with Alberta's agriculture producers and commercial enterprises to ensure they have the tools they require to run a successful business.
Products and Services:
AFSC offers loans for farms, commercial operations, agri-businesses and value-added enterprises as well as loan guarantees and capital sourcing services. They also provide customized loan programs with flexible repayment options, as well as fixed or renewable interest rate terms. All AFSC loans can be prepaid or paid in full at any time without penalty.
Several of AFSC's lending products include the following:
- Value-Added and Agribusiness Program (to start, develop and grow their agribusiness or value-added enterprise).
- Commercial Loan Program (alternate source of loan capital to individuals and commercial businesses in Alberta)
